Is he still alive and if yes, does he still work for camp?

Yes, Ed Buckbee is still alive. He retired from Space Camp in 1994. He now runs Ed Buckbee & Associates. Here's the link:

He is also part of the first class of space camp hall of fame inductees.

It's nice to see a space junkie who is older than I am.

Of course, we'd have to include all the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo astronauts in there.
