Whatever happened to von Ties? Also, there was another German scientist that worked with von Braun that gave lectures at Camp when I was there but I can't remember his name. I just remembered that with one of those two, campers and counselors alike would fall asleep during their lecture. Anybody know who I'm talking about?
Who was the German scientist that was around in about 1989? As I recall, he seemed to be in his 80s back then (or maybe Van Braun was difficult to work for ). BTW, this guy was exceedingly knowledgeable but was, in most of our opinions, not such a good speaker. I did enjoy the tour he gave of rocket park though.

The other one was probably Konrad Dandenberg. He is still alive and in the area though into his 90s now. I met him 2 summers ago at the international space camp teachers luncheon. His wife Jackie use to be a bus tour driver here at the space and rocket center.
