She is creative... and very talented in arts and crafts... i get the cooolest handmade pressies from her and i LOVE them!!!!
shes just being modest... I am the one with no talent in terms of crafts and stuff.... I cant do even half of what Space Canada can....

You are probably right. I can be creative given the right subjects, but I find it more difficult to be artsy. I am getting better though. I have been asked to make all the costumes for our ballet recital in June - the Little Mermaid - and the costumes I made thus far (all from scratch) have turned our great!des wrote:SpaceCanada, maybe you are speaking of artistry not creativity. Judging from your emails of your summer program, you seem pretty darned creative to me.
Just don't ask me to draw a picture or sculpt something out of clay. However, give me LEGO and I'll create anything you can imagine!
Hmm... or beads or fabric or yarn or popsicle sticks... maybe I should give myself more credit. Hurrah for Girl Guides and their many arts and crafts projects over the years.
So... I wonder how many videos were submitted?? Did anyone from Hab1 (in addition to Harmakis and myself) submit a video??

I actually acquired a bunch of MP3 files (not all are genuine MaxQ songs) from someone on this forum. PM me with your e-mail address if you want them. I actually got an e-mail from Chris Hadfield giving me permission to use their song too! (I was over the Moon when I got that e-mail...)

As per Vincent's question on the front page, the winner will be notified by telephone no later than 07 May 2007. Non-winners will not be notified.
This is what is written on the application form. Three and a half weeks.

I had just gotten back to my dorm after writing an exam (evil earth science!) and was going to have a nap so I could study later tonite for my last exam. Then my phone rang. It was from the USSRC! I was in shock and speechless. I won the number one fan contest. I really do not remember much of that phone call b/c I was so excited. After I got off the phone it took me 10 minutes to calm myself down enough to call my mom. As long as my boss gives me the time off I will be down there for the 25th anniversary! Yay!! and I get a flag!!! I have never been so excited!!! And I won't be sleeping tonite! (which is bad b/c of finals but oh well)
