Someone should post Joel's speech somewhere (in a separate thread). It would make a great conversation piece...

The best part was that the speech changed every time, and always got a little crazier.

And remember, Joel did come back breifly this summer.

I'm old school

Post by Bubbles7 »

Kinda, not really, but haven't been in a few years. But I had to add my faves, or at least staff I loved: Ballistic, Grunt, Pyro, Beaver, Bean, Kodak, Rabbit, Montano.. OH YEA!!! Of course Doolittle. I miss them all, and I think they are all gone, lol.

Joel's speech in a nutshell was
no drugs (which led to interesting trips to sick bay, no pun intended)
no romance (you don't know WHAT people will do in the lockers)&
no homestyle cookin' (just styrofoam eggs!:))
that's what I remember the most from it. He was awesome...:) It would be really cool to get some sort of nearly verbatim speech from at least one week.:)

I miss Grunt, too; does anyone know what happened to him? Did he ever get his vision fixed?
I saw a picture of Montano this summer on the sims pit computer but couldn't remember his name. I only remembered that he was Montana's little brother.
I saw Doolittle last summer at someone's house but haven't seen him since.

Grunt went to Detroit, Michigan the last I heard, Montano's real name is Rorry. Doolittle just got back from Iraq. And Thanks Bubbles for the shout-out.

I second that, Pyro and Jeremy C were my two all-time favourite counsellors at Space Camp! Kudos go out to Lenny and Phil too!

The link brings you to a picture of Pyro, Jeremy, and a few of my team mates. I'd post the actual picture, but the Hab1 PhotoPortal won't let me get a proper URL for it...
