What do you do in AC Mach II E&E?

A place for ACers to come and hang out after a hard day of escape-and-evade or survival training.

hey, what DO you do in escape and evasion? do they drop you out in the woods and then you try to get back to camp- like simulating what would happen if you were shot down behind enemy lines?

Basically, before E&E, you will do a SEAL Op. Once you've completed that mission, you need to escape and evade to the extraction zone from the enemy territory. You'll crawl through the woods in a low crawl until you reach the landing zone and are marked as safe. You may get caught by an enemy on the way and be captured.

yes, but that's unrelated to their nighttime seal op, except that they both utilize the same skills (patrolling, etc.)

it depends on if you're Mach II or Mach III - there's a difference - also, it depends on if you're talking about during E&E or during SEAL Ops.

I can't remember a single time that someone got captured. I don't think they really capture people unless your doing something stupid (like walking the course etc...). I have heard people call safety before though. The courses are different for Mach 2 and 3... at least last time I was there.

well the first time i was a mach III we used a course WAY back in the woods but the second time we used the same course that the mach II's did, and in mach III from prior experience they will capture you unless you are doing things EXACTALY as they have told you to, ex if they see you in a group larger than 2 you will be caught, and remember to take it serriously even when counselors around are having fun, such as one who had to"urinate" as soon as he saw me and another trainee, he emptied his bladder (water bottle obviously) right on us to see how we would react, the other kid made a noise and he was caught

Wow... I have seen people get captured but it was for like being on the knees and that kind of thing. But yeah... Jerry was like right on top of me once, he definitely knew I was there... X-Mas camp E&E was a drag, one time was cancelled and another they MADE us go on our knees cuz it was too could and hypothermia and stuff... but still fun... of course... Just follow directions and you will "live".
