The last time i was at camp during the summer (2004) the lifeguards were younger than me and I was still in ASA. I should also mention that they weren't watching the water in the slightest which, as a lifeguard, was one of my bigger pet peeves. I digress...

probably not better than the counselors, and level Is get $7.25 an hour... But I honestly have no idea how they even hire lifeguards - and they don't let 'em live on site if they're JUST lifeguards (and not also counselors).

oh, I know - Beaker started off for a while as a lifeguard, from what I understand, and now works everything from astrotrek to hybrids... though she recieved partial AC training last summer, I'm not sure she ever spent much time down at the lake with us during training...

I'm already a lifeguard at the Madison City pool I was just thinking for a side job and to get my foot in the door over there to be a counselor next year (maybe)... although the Madison pool is paying me more than that.... any idea if they short guards for this summer?
