I will have NASA TV distracting me all day at work too...
I should have everyone huddled around my desk a few minutes before the launch.
Yay!!
PS - Is Space Camp doing anything special for the launch? I mean, we got to watch SpaceShipOne make it's voyage on TV while I was there for adult 8-day. Will they be televising the STS-114 launch for everyone to see?

I don't have NASA tv
I don't know what time it's supposed to be at, and even still I will probably miss it 'cause of class I'm in class from 8 am-11 and then from 2-4:45. And from 11-2 I basically have no access to TV- although I MIGHT have PC access. I will probably have to watch it on the night news later, but you bet I will remember about it!:) Yay:)

For those of you without NASA tv it is available on the internet from several spurces. Aside from tha MSNBC will have coverage beginning at 9AM est tommorow and i think is going through launch time. Fox News is starting coverage at 3pm est. I'm sure CNN will alsohave coverage since in the past they were the only ones who covered launches live. Don't know what time there coverage willbegin though. I can almost guarantee you will beable to see this launch on TV. Most people here are too young to remember STS-26 in 1988 and some werent even born yet. But the coverage of that launch and return to space was extensive. I expect tommorows coverage will be as well. Believe me if you want to see the launch look on tv it willbe there somewhere.

Or... you can do like me and watch NASA TV via the web:
<wrong link removed>
And if you do not have speakers or need closed captioning for whatever reason, PM me and I will give you the link for that.
It's less than 24 hours now...
EDIT: I copied the wrong link here... why, I don't know... but use Vincent's link to view NASA TV. (Stupid moment...)

The page, http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/ might be a bit more helpful for internet viewing
Well there has been a slight snag that could potentially delay the launchom discovery it fell and hit the left OMS pod damagin black tiles. NASA is looking at replacinmg it now and hopes to have a decision within the next 10 minutes as to whether to delay the launch or not.

I have no internet access at work, but am going to try to catch it on the lunch room TV...that is, if someone's not watching some dumb show at the time If they are, or I get too busy to get away, I'm bringing a radio and hopefully a news station will have it...
Just heard the mishap has been repaired and all is back on track for tomorrow!

Well looks like NASA is now shooting for a Saturday launch. Mission managers will meet tommorow to troubleshoot the problem. It could launch as late as m,onday. Howevertheysaid if the sensor has to be replaced they will most likely roll discovery back to the VAB again for a more controled work enviroment which means probably no launch till september.
