I'm not sure if I've had a Mars bar or not, lol. You'd think I'd remember.

I just saw a Mars bar wrapper on the ground the other day, so you can get them here in the states. But I'm sure they're hard to find.

You should be able to find one if you check at an older grocery store (like independant/not department store) cause they always carry older candy like skor bars! They arnt as good as milky ways though. [/i]

It's so funny to talk about lollies with Americans. Many of the Commonwealth countries have similar lollies to what can be found in Canada. However, the USA is a whole different story, they have some of the same lollies (far less) but then they have a lot of ther things that can only be found in the USA. Come to think of it, a lot of our lollies have 'not for resale in the United States' written on the packaging. Why, I don't know, but it's an interesting label. It doesn't stop me from brining such lollies into the United States though, just as long as I don't sell them.

Hong Kong has some really delicious lollies: candy coated chocolate dipped sesame seeds! No, really, they're brilliant. I cannot eat enough of them.

Mmm.... food... good thing it is lunch time. :-)

*thinks* Wow, I should really try some candies that aren't in this country.

Hannah, you need to take me to a candy shop when I come visit you.

Watch out for the seafoam! It's vastly different than anything we have here though i think after you got used to it it's probably pretty good.

It's this crunchy airy stuff that reminds me of that stuff that they use as the base in fake flower arrangements. It doesnt taste too bad but the texture is a whole new experience lol.

If you have 'Crunchie' bars in the US (which I'm guessing no, but if you do...) they are made with seafoam candy coated in chocolate. I's like a caramel filled with air bubbles like AERO bars (if you have those). We can buy the stuff in big chunks at the Farmer's Market here... mmmm.... melt in your mouth buttery caramel goodness with bubbles.
