lol... how can you eat mushrooms, they are like fungus. gross.

anyways.. yes day 3.

today we are STILL training. but at least we are doing A/G and A/A which is what im good at. we also did a training mission and bombed the las vegas strip. it was hella fun. especially when we had to dogfight this one sukhoi thingy and one guy fired off heat seakers and shot down half our team. that was really cool.

today we also started actually patroling. i usually dont like this but now its better. mostly because im patrol leader, and i like being in charge. and okra said he likes to capture the patrol leader and the 2 point people. which are me and alison and grip. so being captured would be fun. and i really want to be captured because ive just never been captured.

oh yeah and we did centrifuge. i love the centrifuge. and yeah thats day 3.

For partolling, what types of scenarios do the counsellors throw at you? Do you have to patrol a certain area looking fr suspicious activity or certain people? Also, where do you do patrolling exercises, around AC, or do you go all over the place and up to Area 51 and Space Camp too?

we were given 2 missions this year. one was a SAR (search and rescue) mission where we had to locate, rescure and carry an injured pilot back to safetly. Our night op was so complicated. it was a miracle we finished, we were given 2.5 hours and fininshed with 8 min left. the senario was we were a navy seals team behind enemy lines and we had many stops to go to and cache point and we had to set up this satelite and download info about these suposedly stolen satelites. we then had to go to an enemy camp and destroy a nuclear missile and send up an unarming signal.

none of that prolly made sense. but it was a REALLY complicated mission. we were the first kid group to do it, before that it was used for adult ac missions.

you patrol ALL the forest around ac and space camp. even the woods behind the USSRC.

No, that makes good sense to me. :-) I did a search and rescue camp once, so I understand that scenerio completely. The Navy SEALS op sounds complicated though, as you mention. Wow, AC looks better and better all the time! I am glad you were subjected to a more challenging scenerio this time.

ok finals are through. so now i will post day 4.

ok so day 4, we were finally flying missions and we did the SAR today. it didnt go so great, but that is due to a certain person who forgot the backpack... way to go wally. we flew like 3 missions today. which i liked cuz i like missions, miraculously i didnt crash on a single one. go me. today we also did some games cuz we had some extra time in the sims. we played air force vs. navy. of course i the air force won cuz we got to fly f 15s which are super good at dog fighing as compared to the f 18. so yeah not much except missions on day 4.

yes so day 5. the last full day. we did top gun in the morning which i won cuz i always do. then in the afternoon and evening we did all patroling stuff. starting with a practice mission after lunch, and then a bunch of boring briefings and then our mission in the evening.

the mission went well and we miraculously finished with 8 minutes to spare. seriously though it was funny because I was the only person not to get captured at some point in the mission. and that was only because they were like "were not sending in the patrol leader to rescue everyone" needless to say i was disapointed not to be captured for the third time in a row. at one time in the mission we were seriously at the point of sending in the men to get the men who went in to get the men. i just laughed. as did the counselor who was with us. and then we were all ghetto because we were only given like 4 shoelaces and everyone wanted one, and then once everyone who had a shoelace was captured me and alison took off our shoe lace and distributed them. we were walking around without shoes most of the mission. it was gross.

the coolest point of the mission was once it was done and hostage told me the story of how he got his callsign.

then we went to the new years eve party. which was lame because all we did was sit in the cafeteria and talk to people and wait for some of our team members to get out of the bathroom.

anyways. the next day all i did was graduation. and be bored in eald becuase all the rides were closed.

then the day after that i had a lot of the morning and some of the afternoon in eald. and it was fun becuase this awsome dude let us go on some spinny space camp thing for like 4 min without getting off. and then we got to go on the jumpy thing were you feel like your on the moon. and it was only me and alison and wally so it was extra fun. yay

the end
