Tour Of Kennedy

Hey,

A few of us are hopeing to make it down to Kennedy in May to check the place out, go on a tour. I was wondering what you get to see on the regular public tours? If anyone could share their experiences, that would be cool. Make sure to say when you went, cause stuff might has changed since!

a family friend is an astrnautr so we got to see a lot mroe then normal peopel did when we went down for one of the launches like we saw them across the street the day before and that was wicked cool

im trying to remember but last time i went to kennedy i was like 9 or 10 or something like that. which would be in like 97. so the details are fuzzy. but i just remember being in a bus with some guide talking over a loud speaker.

i was there in may for the induction ceremony into the astronaut hall of fame

if you go..go to the lunch with an astronaut thing

when i was there i got to talk to john glenn, wally schirra, gordo cooper, and scott carpenter.....it was really cool

ooh but sometimes they have a tour with an astronaut..i went on one with charlie walker..it was really cool

so if you go down and you are able to do that..make sure you do b/c it's awesome
