Every time that I've gone to camp (other then this time) I've had different teams members in my room, but then we were there for the regular so we all left at the same time. I defintly liked it better with your whole team in the same room because then you can get to know them better, but then my room only had three people.

I think you only end up with people from other teams in your room when it's like overflow. Like there's 2 extra people from your team and 2 from another or something like that.

lol nice reply katie. Yeah i think its an overflow kinda thing too. I mean the ideal team would have 8 girls and 8 guys but obviously it dosnt work out that way very often.

You just think you're so smart :P Actually there used to be 8 bunks in each room except that they took one out for the desk. Hence the large locker that i fight people for lol.

It depends on the how many girls and how many guys you have on your team. For my 8 day trip we only had 4 girls and 4 guys so we had our own room but the guys had two people from Atlantis in there room. At Christmas camp we had only 5 girls so we had our own room. Last July we had 8 girls so two of us were in another room with people from Oberth. My other trips had mixed rooms as well.

when i was in academy, there were a lot of academy teams and the rooms were all mixed up, my room had people from 3 different teams. it was just me and a girl that i came to camp with from my team in it. but i liked it a lot because i got to meet people that i wouldn't have met otherwise. i probably would have gotten closer, as someone said, to the rest of the girls on my team if we had been in the same room, but i still liked it.
when i was in advanced, we were the only advanced team that week and there were only 4 girls, so we just got our own room.

with 2 teams for the alumni week, did you do your 24 hour missions at different times?

Wait I thought there used to be two desks and 6 beds, but they took out the desk (the bottom bunk closest to the door) and replaced it with a bed to house more people...?

i think overall..most people are with their teammates

i didn't really like it when my academy room had all different people in it b/c i didn't get to know everyone in my group as well..but it's still cool to meet other teams (when i was there for ASA this summer i knew all of the people on the other teams..i knew some better than others but everyone knew me and i knew them)

I think you're right because there's still a lightswitch (that does nothing) and plug-in on that bed.

This somehow probably explains the huge locker, but I can't figure out how.

Ok thats one possible theory but that dosnt explain why there are numbers over hte beds that still go to 8 and 8 is painted on the doors as well. Or at least it used to be they finally painted over it. Maybe its been both ways over the years. Then we would all be right. And yes i do claim all big locker conversation lol. It explains the big locker because the big locker used to be two lockers but they knocked out the wall between them and made them one. Or at least thats my theory and it seems to fit in quite well. I think that they did both and we are all right lol. Where is a counselor when you need one?
