UPDATE

I am almost finished digitising the Christmas Camp design. Father Christmas no longer looks like a twig, and the colours are very uniform; great for printing. I hope to have it finished sometime next week.

PS - Exactly what colour are AC flightsuits? I have the Reindeer in an olive-green shade similar to that of the old Canadian military uniforms. It is easy to switch shades if needed be.

I started to make the background image and I remembered I can't draw. Someone wanna draw a Christmas tree and a fighter jet? I can make it look really good, I just can't make those items. For the jet, a side view of some sort would look the best.

When I am done the characters I can make some suggestive sketches for the background.

I will try to work on the characters some more this weekend.

I second Benji.
The week 41 shirts were cool, but almost too flashy.

I will have the Father Christmas and Reindeer design finished by Tuesday night. The BMP file is about 15 MB in size, and that's without the background! What was the consensus for the background? The tree-shaped mission patch thing? The fighter jet? What does everyone want me to draw?

Anyway, the design would look best on white or grey shirts. Shot sleeved was decided since most people come from places with warm climates. Besides, you can always throw a long-sleeve shirt under the short-sleeve shirt for warmth.

Once I know what the background is supposed to be, I'll get started on drawing that up too! Oh, how I love this drawing stuff. I totally suck at drawing unless it is for something I really enjoy, like camp!

PS - To whomever gets these printed. Please leave my itials on the name badge. That way I can be at camp too! :-D For all I know, I might even order one of these shirts!

I think it'd look better as a round patch with a tree inside and a jet above and off-center. If you draw the components (the tree and jet) and send them to me, I'll put them together both ways and we can decide which looks better. Someone wanna research getting these made?

Sounds good Benji. I am focussing on getting the characters done right now. However, with a file >10MB, I cannot e-mail it to myself, so I am limited to working on it at home.

I will draw two trees: one as a mission patch-type, with a dark green border, and then the other as a background tree. It might take me some time, but like I said before, I will try my best to be as fast as I can. I will keep everything consistent with the cartoon style I have used so far.

I hope you guys will be happy with the way Father Christmas and the reindeer turned out. They look awesome! I am just finishing up the patches and zippers on the reindeer.

Do you think there would be a limit on the amount of colours you can print with your design? Some companies charge not only for the size of the design but the amount of colours as well. If this is the case, I can reduce the colours I have used. I will not do this unless it is absolutely necessary.

PS - Benji - when I send you images, what size can I send and what format would you prefer? If you want the >10MB file I can upload it somewhere if needed be. It should be ready tomorrow night/Wednesday morning.
