it's a time to seize the moment.
it's a time to move on.
it's a time to seize the moment.
it's a time to move on.
this is beginning to sound redundant...

*attempts to maintain a positive attitude even though she is faced with hours and hours and words and words of work to do.*

Ive fried my computer once. the power supply went up and melted the insulation off the wires to my floppy also melting that. Box started smoking. It was really entertaining.
On a different note, nothing bad happens to my monitor, its my baby, a 24 inch visible area CRT behemoth that i paid $95 for, its currently worth about $300

the monitor is extremely well shielded for the small ammount of material in it. You only risk personal injury if the glass tube that makes up the screen is compromized

They actually reccommend that you sit about an arms length away from your monitor at all times just to avoid any radiation. I however usually sit somewhere between 6 and 12 inches lol. Considering i'm headed off to college for a computer science degree you would think i would follow some of these rules, working on computers for the rest of my life and all lol. This comes from somebody who stands in front of the microwave and stares at the food as it spins so really i am a terrible example lol.
