Wait... what? / warning

Post by CastAway »

Well, I'm looking here at my "what to bring to camp" list... you know, the one that looks exactly the same every year... well, I get to the bottom, and what do I see? "Towels and Washcloths"! Yup, that's right, as far as I can tell, Space Camp has gone cheapo on us! Now we have to bring our own towels and washcloths for showering! Just a friendly warning for all of you...

You have got to be the only person who actually wants to use the towels and washcloths from camp lol. They are very small and really not so clean (yes i know they wash them but think about how many people have used them). But yeah it was like that last year when i went.

I never said I wanted to.... heh. I just knew that they didn't have them anymore... so I thought I'd warn everybody. But yeah, they were pretty dirty and used-feeling, anyway.

make sure you bring a beach towel too, even if you're not a diver.

Even if you do not go to the UAT, you could still go to the AC lake, or I have seen pictures of people at some sort of aquatics facility. (Has anyone while at camp ever been taken to some sort of pool off campus?)

When i was at ac in april and at X-Mas camp we went to a pool in like downtown huntsville,
i liked it because there wasnt really much to do in the pool except float around in LPUs so we ended up just playing marco polo while the space campers floated around the pool in this awsome floaty space capsule looking thing :D

dude. we didn't get to do that. all we got to do was stand in the water.
lol. okay, i was a little more fun than i make it sound. we made it fun. we flipped the floaty bed things (i think thats what we had) and we got to use kickboards. i couldn't go anywhere but in circles.
then we played in the bathrooms drying our hair under the hand dryers.
good times.

Whoa, im jelous i want a kickboard!! those things are fun! This one time my tennis team decided to go swimming to improve our cardiovascular health or something like that, so we were supposed to like swim laps, me and my friend didnt want to so we lied that we couldn't swim so we got kickboards and chased each other around the pool while everyone else was struggling to swim laps, it was fun, underachievment rocks!!!
