Lovell's restraunt

Post by spacemusician »

for dinner after my graduatino yesterday we went to lovells restraunt here in chicago. it is owned by jim's son jay who is a chef. Inside they have a lot of pictures from his various trips into space. it was sooo cool espically because i sat under a signed picture from apollo13. Its is really expersive place so that was probly the only time ill get to go ther but hey it was amazing while it lasted
The thing that drives me most is that people tell me that ill never be an astronaut. My love and passion for space will lead me to new heights, hopefully back to the moon or mars.

That's pretty darn cool! I'll have to check that out next time I'm in Chicago!
The less time spent in Orion Bay, the better.

The owners of the place where I work are going to Chicago tomorrow. One of whom is a great fan of aviation. I have mentioned this restaurant to them. They seem interested.

Thanks for letting us know such a place exists.
They have a website too:

http://www.lovellsoflakeforest.com/

It looks very elegant; wow! If I ever go to Chicago I will definitely try to have a meal here!

The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation had an auction a few months ago. One item was dinner with Jim Lovell at Lovell's.
Ad astra per aspera.
