The UAT is great. Between Sim Op, Counselor, and Assistant Instructor, AI is the best. Better and more fulfilling than being a counselor. Lots of the time being a counselor felt like being a sheep dog, herd 'em where they need to be and nip at their heels when necessary. Being an AI and working at the tank you really get to see the kids have a good time that in no way compares to anything else they do. There's a reason the UAT is the #1 activity for AA. You take a kid down and see their eyes light up the way they do, that's what makes it all worth it.
Where've you been hiding KHu? Goku says howdy and you may be getting more new neighboors soon.

I think it kind of goes without saying that when you apply for a counsler position, you're sacrificing your free time. And just like any other job, your employer isn't necessairly going to throw you any kind of bone.
Nevertheless, Vincent, CONGRATULATIONS!
I plan on finding you and giving you a Joker from a pack of cards.
And writing "Vincent Rocks!" on the card.
And yeah.
Talk about random?

While I was at camp the first time the counsellors had some sort of EDM for themselves one night. You'll have to let us know if they have any of these while you are there. If so, you will have to tell us how different it is from the *usual* ASA EDMs.

Just want to welcome you to the family of Space Camp Counselors. I hope you are ready to work hard and long days. Already the weather has changed. Typical weather is now in the 80 with about 75% humidty. I know this because I live a place that also has high humidty. Vincent I want to cominicate to you the same information that CoffeDiver has told you. I have graduated in late February and since that day I have had a handful of days off. I can count the days off on my two hands and I don't even need my feet to count them. But if you are ready to work through these hot and humid days of summer I welcome you. If you are going to complain about working to much then this is not the place for you. I have had my fun and still having my fun. If any of you have seen my other post you have seen how many times I have been here as a trainee this place is a vortex you can never leave. If you do it will bring you back at sometime. In closing you will see how some of the childrens eyes open up when you teach them and how your teaching can effect them for the rest of there lives. Good Luck and hope to see you around.

Dumb Que
This is a dumb question what is the Space Camp uniform? Do you mean you have to wear something that indicates that you work there such as the flight suit, flight jacket, camp shirts, or the polo shirts.

There's the polo shirt but also a U.s. space camp staff shirt. I think they have to wear the polo shirt for check in day and grad but can wear the other one the rest of the time.
