Its not Space Camp but still cool
Well unfortunately its not a job that i've wanted for years (to be a space camp counselor) but ui have all but been offered a job as a museum educator for the Virginia Air and Space Center which is the visitor center for NASA Langley research center. My resume is in i've been told they would like to have me onboard but i still have to go through the formality of an interview in the next couple of weeks. Part of my job will be working with the center's day camp programs during summer and holiday breaks also helping to run educational programs during the school year and public demos on weekends. I've been volunteering their for years and been offered jobs in visitor services which would mean selling tickets or working in the gift shop but now i can do what i love and get paid for it. ofcourse thats sharing my knowledge of space and aviation and hopefully inspiring an intrest in it in younger children. Since i want to teach once i get my master this will be a good experiance and since it requires a college degree which i will have in may it will be my first professional job. I know this post is going on and on but i'm just excited about it. Wish me luck.

Thats totally awesome! Plus if someday in the future you want to apply for a job at space camp then you have more experience to put on your resume! Sounds cool all around... I was going to work at the local space center this year but they just shut it down.

Great work Jason!
I am sure you will be a great asset to the museum staff. You can bring your Space Camp experiences along and weave them in with the museum programmes.
I hope all goes well with your new job! Keep us posted.
