Don't worry, Meg, I know you would have figured it out on your own soon enough. 8)

It's official, the new spacecamp.com website has been released! It looks pretty fine so far! There are a few quirks here and there, but overall a HUGE improvement.

One comment: The no longer offer the program selector (dates & rates) by age, only by program name. Thus, now the 8-day adult ASA does not show up!!

Second comment: Space Programs page: it took me a while to find the link for ASA. Maybe something at the bottom, or markers somewhere can point people in the right direction without panning the mouse all over.

Meg -- you might want to delete your internet history/files/cookies. Then restart your browser.

Jennifer -- We talked about the mouse overs on the space side being labeled rather then hide and go seek. Ill talk to Roderick about getting that added into the functionallity added.

We realize that their are a few bugs to still work out, some pages arent being displayed correctly from the database, some cosmetic issues and spelling errors <hate>.

Great Work 'Who' et al.! Like anything on it's first debut, there will be a few things that need "tweaking" but overall I'm very impressed. What a face-lift!

Other comments: The circles for the different space camps link to a picture page. However, some of the things that link to the picture page aren't even shown on the picture page - like MOCR.

Side note: The 8-day adult ASA is listed on the registration form... it's not lost! :P

The Aviation Challenge side of the website is also looking very nice! There is a lot more information about AC than ever before on any of the old websites. (From what I remember.)

It looks great. One complaint: on the Space Camp programs page you have to rollover everything to find what you want. I didn't have a problem, but you get some old-lady trying to plan a trip for their grandchild...

Bug Report:
On the Pilot track page, clicking on the Mach 2 sims link is futile for those of us not inside the server's local network. The link is:

http://10.0.0.23/camponline/request?typ ... id=ac_sims

the link SHOULD be:

http://www.spacecamp.com/camponline/req ... id=ac_sims
SA July 2001

ASA July 2002

ASA July 2003

ASA 8-Day July 2004

ASA 8-Day X-Mas 2004

Yeah , i totally empathize(?) with you! I was in the middle of AP Euro and was supposed to be working on an essay, when i went to the camp website and the volume on the computer was turned up all the way, my whole class turned when they heard this chchkkkkk noise when you put your mouse over one of the icons, it was soooo embarrassing! :D oh well high school is one long exersize in embarrasment. lol

If I learned one thing in high school it was how to laugh at myself. This is one of the most valuble tools you can have! Not only will it stop people from finding a good thing to taunt you about but it will also stop you from taunting yourself. Seriously, learn to laugh at yourself if you havnt already!

They updated the Space Camp website again. They ironed out a few wrinkles and made a screen to choose dial-up or broadband. Very nice. :)
