Actually, I think it would be even more fun with less time to stop and smell the fresh air.

I like the off-season 5-day better just for that reason. During the summer, there are a lot of people. Everything is always in use and you're herded around from one sim to another. If one group spends too much time on one thing, the whole schedule gets messed up. In the winter, you get pretty much free reign. If your suppoed to use the MAT but another group is on it, you can just go to another MAT or another sim and come back to the MAT later.

Plus, the 5-day is fast-paced, which I enjoy.

Actually i agree, despite the one year i had 3 other people in my group off season is better. You have more of the camp to yourself and you get all the warm water in the showers..... lol

This will be my first time going in the off season. I can't wait. I never could before because of school.

Yeah i went 5 day once and 6 day once I think? The second year it was longer... I've never been in the off season, but I seriously considered going for spring break last year. I'd like to go to christmas camp but I do have parents who are like "NO! Christmas=family" so that's out of the question :P

It's not actually over Christmas (which is why I think they should rename it). It is from Dec. 28-Jan. 2.

I think it is full. Well I have been told multiple times that it is full. You can still try and get squeezed in though....worked for me!

If it is full then why is it still listed on the site? I thought they took it down once it was full ... oh well so much for that idea :-(

Last I checked it wasn't listed on the site anymore. I wanted to go, but my parents shot that idea down after I got back this summer.

Ok, so I lied, it is on there. Also if you register by Dec. 31 tuition is only $649, or Jan 1- March 15 it's only $799! They didn't kill the 6 day program yet either. YAY!!!!

$650 is amazing!

...*sigh*...the adult program is still $899. It's not hard to justify, but it is hard when ASA is $650!

As of Feb. I'm too old to go back. Sadly Christmas Camp will be my last trip to Alabama for quite some time. I hope to come back when I'm done university.

I love the fact that dedicated space campers buy themselves trips to camp for thier own birthdays....... Not that i have any room to talk since i was reorganizing my college budget to go again lol :)
