Yeah, the first time I went this one kid (my EVA partner) suddenly started running around on a rampage because he was convinced he was the flying purple people eater 8O

Brent was in MOCR during my EDM and I survived a "tornado". That was a lot of fun.

The tornado did make a mess, but it also resulted in several medical anomalies in addition to the ones we already had and several computers being shut off. Our CDR and PLT were awesome though and solved their own buzzer anomalies for like 15 min.

we actually had our EDM in the middle of a real storm (not quite a tornado... lol), so we ended up losing power, and the computers all shut off, and had to be rebooted....

OH! How could I forget? Last year on the EDM I was in MOCR and some buzzer started going off so we think something is wrong in the sim and we start trying to figure out how to fix it, and then one of the counselors comes in and is like "Um, we're actually having a fire drill..." So we have to go outside. It turned out that one of our fellow EDMers, on the space station, blew up a microwave. It was so funny

That must have been why Station had a new microwave this year. The only reason i remember is because it was in a new place since the new one wouldnt fit in the old ones slot.

He he, The told us that the microwave was new and that there was some sort of explosion involved because somebody mistaked time or something. Yeah and they also told us not to put the plastic bowl in the microwave.

I was down in MOCR and, naturally, in the middle of one anomaly on the space shuttle we had to have another right down in Mission Control. Earthquake! Well everyone evacuated on time, and we were fine, if it weren't for the fact that the earthquake caused a natural gas leak in the pipes. Two of us fainted, and I, being the tallest, was nominated to jump up on the console and seal the gas leak with duct tape. Always useful, that duct tape.

Then there was another one, where I warned the head of the station that the percentage of waste was rising at an alarming rate. He ignored me, and life went on as usual, but some five minutes later the Space Ghost started throwing pieces of paper at him (and especially him) that read simply: "waste."

We had a gas leak in MOCR, too (minus the 'quake, though). People started dropping like flies. I was the only one left and even that was intermittent. The station and orbiter both had buzzers going off and I couldn't find the [darn] thing. Finally, Reggie (EVA) came to and found it (it was tiny) on a pipe (or support column) in the back of the room. I sealed it with duct tape and couldn't believe how I'd run around for so long looking for it and didn't look on the PIPE!!!
