If you can get hold of the full version and need somewhere to host it, I'll be more than happy to host it here...

I just spent the past few days searching for this video, or at least the song. As far as i can tell, no one has published the whole thing to the web :( . If contacting the Marshal Space Flight Center doesnt work out, we could also try contacting Space Camp, and the USSRC to see if they could provide a copy of it for us. And as a last resort, someone who is going to camp, bring a video camera, film it and the we can post it on the web for ourselves.

Only one snag with that guys... I feel sure that before anyone posts that on the web that someone needs to make sure it is ok with Ms. Swindell. Just to be legal and all.

Well, if you're worried about that, it really isn't leagal even to record it. Actually, you'd just need permission from whoever has the copyright on the video, probably the USSRC. The singer would have had to sign a release authorizing them to use her voice and lyrics in any way they wanted, including posting on the web or giving it to us.

Yarr...

But we won't have to worry about Dan's pirate personality, because MSFC-TV is going to let us put it up on Hab1.com....still waiting for them to send it, though.

In 2002, my counsellor Michelle showed it to us and then after she was like "Now that I remember how stupid that was you'll never have to see it again."

The song itself is kind of stupid. Not a very good song, but the memories i have while listening to the song are great. With your whole team sitting, listening and singin the day before you leave. That is great.
And I want to 'hear' that memory again.

Becky made us watch it this year.

Last year it was one of the questions for Museum Hunt and two teams ended up having it at the same time. We heard the first 6 words then ran back towards our counselor. There were 8 of us that ran back. We got strange looks from the public.

I dont recall being forced to watch it, I think when we went in to watch it it was already part way through and we decided screw it and moved on. Also, we always get odd looks from the civilians whenever we are running around.

Lol, I just scare the normal people. Simple as that. I have been forced to watch it every time I go all 8 times. I never really liked it, but now its just that I know all of the words and it brings back so many memories...I kinda feel attached to it. Anyone who has been on one of my teams will tell you that I randomly break out into song and go through just about all of "A Time for Courage".
