We miss you all too! It's quiet here without y'all. :) We'll try to do the same thing next year, eh...?

STIPPER!

Hello y'all, 'tis Em here. I very much miss y'all, and the group at Aviation CHallenge wasn't nearly as tight-knit as we were. About 5 of us got to be rather close, and the rest were just sort of there. I had a lot of fun, still, and found I am quite a good Rio.

I'm enjoying my first day back home. The bed is cushy and the food is...well, food. I do miss the constant activity, however.

STIPPER! Okay maybe it was just my team, but we literally STIPPERed people out of the room in a mob. Oh boy was that embarrassing!

Who's on the short orbiter??

Post by Repeat »

Hey everyone. I had an awesome week with everyone, and despite the fact that AC is normally my favorite week, Oberth week 42-03 was my all-time favorite week in the land of red dirt and mosquitoes! I just got home Friday evening, and I'm still exahusted, plus, I almost completely have lost my voice... I'm very glad to be away from the mosquitoes, but I miss you guys.
I've had constant activity since I got home, so I'm still missing sleep... We've got house guests, and while they're cool, I just wanna sleep for a week!!

All my friends ALREADY knew I was a space camp geek... That's nothing new... I miss Huntsville, but I am happy to finally be home and sleeping in a real bed, with real blankets, and able to take a bath, and sleep past 7, and the list goes on...
I found out my AP scores finally - 4 on AP Lit and 3 on AP Calc
And I found out who my roommate is... Megan, she's gonna be a chem engineer - she seems pretty cool, though she's not a space freak... Hey, anyone know where Gales Ferry, Connecticut is?? That's where she's from, but it's a small town, supposedly... And I've never heard of it...

Gales Ferry, Connecticut is in the South-East corner of the state, near New London, if you've ever heard of that, which I doubt.

Hey everybody!
Hope everyone is doing well and had just as much fun as I did at camp!
It is really nice to be home but I do really miss camp and all the people!
I hope that we can resurrect our team from this year and all come because I think it would be really fun!
Anyway....

Hi Everybody!
It hope that we can all come back next year, except for Kelsey  who can't come. As for Brian and me, I know that Brian is going to Europe next summer. (Lucky) So, we are not quite sure what we are doing next year, we might come, but we don't know yet, because if we go to week # 42, he has to leave on thursday before graduation. Anyways, good to hear from all of you guys.

I already know (unfortunately) that I will be unable to come. A) I'll be too old for ASA, and B) My mom said she's not paying for Adult Advanced... So this was my last year as a camper. And you guys made it an awesome last week. I've never had a better group.

Dude, Kathy, Bebop told me that as long as you're 18, you can come.
Now, me, I'll TRY to be back, as a counciler. ::Evil giggle::, which means all of y'all would HAVE to listen to me... Ooooh, that sounds nice...

But yes, if anything, tell me when y'all are going back and I'll try and make a roadtrip down to visit y'all.

it doesn't matter how old you can be, at this point, I think my mom's decided she's sick of paying for me to go to Alabama, so unless I pay for myself, I'm not going back... Besides, I don't know when the ROTC stuff is gonna be, and we're supposed to go to Cape Cod as a family... But hopefully, in two years, I'll come back as a counselor...
I came home with an allergic reaction to Alabama... I'm on Zyrtec now, as well as a nasal spray, and I blame it all on the land of red dirt!! Stupid plants! I just hope I'm off it by the time I go to Indoc...

Poor, poor relocated yankee... Nah, the stuff down here kills me too, and I've been in this general area most of my life.
Where the plants make you sneeze, the animals are vicious, and the rednecks are... well, rednecks.

Hey Everyone... I got all my pictures developed and put on cd, so I have them on my computer (well, I'm not quite done editing them for cropping and getting rid of red eye... but I should be done before I go to sleep tonight), so if anyone wants to see them, email me at [email protected] and i'll send you the pics with you in them, or any other specific ones you wanna see... I have four cameras total, two of which are Oberth 42... So let me know!

I got my pictures back as well, but sadly, the cd I had them put on is a total piece of monkeynaut crud. So I'm scanning the better ones in, and I've got one of that great conga line(It came out REALLY great), and later I'm scanning the one of the pyramid!

e-mail me, [email protected] if you're interested.

:? When I went I had taken sereval roles of shots I am missing one or two rolls. But to get to the point some of my photos came out bad too but my dad said that floursent lighting is not a good lighting for taking pictures. I would have to see the bad photos to say for sure. Most of the photos that came out good where out side shots. Plus a other thing was my camera was a cheap one. I probally would hav done better with a disopal one. I a carmera not to long ago so hopefully I can get better shots and get them on cd.
