If I go a day early, the price of a plane ticket drops over $100. By the way, the little coupon thing in the graduation pack is for $649, and yes my title could have been a little more descriptive, but I was really excited just then.

I won't be 18 until into my junior year of college, but I'd have to either make a lot of money or convince my parents to pay for camp and college.

When I registered for Christmas Camp I took the last Mission Specialist spot. Now only the pilot track is available and there are less than 6 slots left. If you plan on going you should register soon.

I hope I can register to night if my mother doesn't push it back anymore. Which I am very  becuase she does this to me alot. Plus she should now that Space Camp is my home away from home. The reason i quotes monkenynautt was because that I am going to have them put 1st place as MS just in case someone has to canllecl or something else. Space Camp bulit on my team skills but if i have to be a pliot in anycase it will at least help me build leadership skills.

I don't think my parents are going to let me go. They think two trips to space camp is enough and want me to go to a three week engineering camp at Rose-Hulman instead.

I have the SC's Throttle Up, The Space Shuttle Operators Manual , the cheap book they give you. Last night while watching Space Camp the movie I sat down and started to go over the controls to lift off. The Space Shuttle Operators Manual has a table that shows time, event, panel, switches to hit, and comm which is close as I wil get without having the cards right in fornt of me. The only thing I am neroves about in landing. Also The Space Shuttle Operators Manual has big prints outs of most of the panels the comanger and pilot use. I am sad that I will not get to fly around as a MS and get to sit at the EVA seat but I get to have more command caplties. I hope be Pilot or commander in the orbiter and in Mission control I hope to be flight or CAPCOM. When I was last at camp my team was short changed so we didn't use the Space Station so I really have no clue of what the piolt track does.

You need to take a chill pill! YOU WILL BE FINE!!!!!!! I promise. During one of our missions I was commander and our pilot was one of the girls from Australia. She was freaking out before and during training and just knew she was going to kill us all. During the mission, she turned out to be the best pilot I've ever done a mission with.

And pilots are Flight Ops in the Station. There major thing is to make sure the station gets boosted. Nothing special. Payloads are in charge.

Happy Holidays

Post by ApolloXI »

I want to wish everyone Happy Holidays, plus safe. I like to say that I will keep a diary while at camp. The diary will be posted at sometime in the future on my website. Please wish us a good time while we are at camp. I know we will though.

Jason handled things well. Arlisa, however, was scared out of her mind, just look at our team photo. At that was only the second day...
