That would make me mad, but it would also be kinda cool to have your knowledge so desired.

Hmm... way back in the day, my first year at Camp (7 years ago, calling last week week #1 and it week #7... this system will be used throughout this message), we won Space Bowl. They gave us a Space Shuttle Stack pin. #6, I won the same. #5, I think I won nothing. #4, which I think was my first Academy year, I won best mission. This may actually have been #5. I don't think I won anything again until #1, last week. Although I may have won something #2, but I wasn't there for Space Bowl or graduation. But #1 (last week), we won Space Bowl. We had a guy who had done ASA the week before and pulled some strings on his ASA-Mach III pack and did another ASA. But I like to think that he just had the information pounded into him and not that he remembered questions.

Still no awards for me yet. I really didn't like the way we did space bowl this year.

Did Brent do your Space Bowl? He did ours Jeopardy-style. The other team's buzzer kept coming unplugged, but we would have won anyway.

No, Katina, our day counselor did it. Only one person could go up at a time.

Oh well that would ruin all the fun. I did it like that in Camp and Academy and it sucked becuase I couldn't answer all of the questions.

It does suck, I've had to do it like that before. It is a little fairer for the other team, though, because one person can't answer every question.

Well whatever, I love answering every question. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I am really competative. I freak out if I don't win.

We did it the normal way. We split into mocr groups and just did it between the groups of our team. I was the only one who answered questions from my team.

Oh that sounds crazy familiar! I answered all but one, and it was an astronomy question and I think I slept through that lecture.

Awards I've won:
1998 Space Academy - none
1999 Mach II - none
2000 Mach III - Admiral's Cup
2000 ASA - pilot track
2001 ASA - space bowl
2001 Mach III - Red Flag (even though I went at the very end of the summer, and there was only one Mach III team, we had the highest scores of the entire summer (supposedly) so they gave it to us anyway... but we didn't get Admiral's cup :( )
2003 ASA - I didn't win anything, though the other Area 51 group on my team won.
2003 Mach III - nothing

The reason my ASA space bowl team (the Duck Tapes) in 2003 didn't win was because of two things. Number one, we had problems with people who didn't know answering when someone who knew buzzed in (grrr), and we had two girls who had gone the previous week, and knew most of the info and questions without hearing the entire thing, and one was on the other team, and though my team had the most points out of our group, that team had taken away enough of our points that someone else was able to beat us. Oh well - I've got one spacebowl tee-shirt... I really wanted the "I survived Area 51" shirt, but I suppose, now I'll never be able to get it...
So sad.

Aww I got the Area 51 t-shirt once way back in the day. Unfortunately this time while I was at camp, our scoring was done differently than every other team, so it was impossible to compare our scores to anyone else's scores, thus making it impossible to win spacebowl. How sad...

Below are my awards, in my signature.
I did indeed win Area 51(How the hell my group did, I'm not quite sure), though I did pull my group aside and explain to them how to do each activity.... Explained a few that we never did, but whatever. I was the only one in the group who'd done it before, as opposed to you, Soccer, who had how many? I guess we just had good team spirit... I always figured it was a little more complicated. :? Oh well. I never got a t-shirt that had Space Bowl on it. Back then they just gave out patches.

I told my group in AC how to do all of them, pretty much, although for Electric Fence, I wasn't sure exactly how to do the end, because I'd never had a group that had completed it, and Em gave us a better way of doing it, and then Dodger, our strong flexible person managed to complete it... YAY! And for the previous week, my team managed to almost complete tubular trouble, completed the one with the harness, almost completed toxic waste (we dropped one ball out of the bucket, and then we dropped the bucket into the other one, and then time was up), for the one with the boards that have to be perpendicular or parallel, we finally completed that one, and that was all we did in ASA... I've never won it, though I really really want that tee-shirt, gosh darnit!!
