Okay then, I really have to check my sources. Anyway, what missions did it fly? I want to know specifically.

In all fairness though, you should give him a break. She hasn't been to Space Camp yet!

(edited to sound less ignorant!)

I just don't know all the flights so I was showing him where he could find the information that he wanted.

Atlantis is a fully flyable vehicle it first flew in 1985 on STS-51J the flights atleast up through 2002 include STS-61B, STS-27, STS-30, STS-34, STS-36, STS-38, STS-37, STS-43, STS-44, STS-45, STS-46, STS-66, STS-71, STS-76. STS-79, STS-81, STS-84, STS-86, STS-101, STS-106, STS-98. There have been more flights since then but that was the closes resource i had available. The only 3 vehicles built for Testing were OV-99 Challenger, Pathfinder which i could be wron but i believe is OV-100, and Enterprise which is OV-101. Challenger was later outfitted for space flight with extensive modifications. Pathfinder was only built for testing since its essentialy a shell and Enterprise had a flaw in its airframe that kept it from being modified and challenger was instead.Columbia, Discovery, Atlantis and Endeavour were all built as flight vehicles.

Ahem. I hate to be rude, Vincent, but I am a girl. So the "he" you wrote is supposed to be a "she"! :x

Might i suggest agging your first name to your signature like most of us have. It helps to keep people from making misTAKES LIKE THAT.

Well, I don't think you can hold me accountable for something I had no way in knowing!

Regardless, I apologize and I have corrected my error.

Some people like me don't like posting their full name out for privacy and security reasons. Understand that. :?

Oh, indeed I do understand it...but I also feel that if one feels that way, one shouldn't get too bent out of shape over such confusion.
