The new ones these days just aren't like the old ones. They try to make the biggest and best water gun they can so that they sell a bunch of them, and now some of them filled with water are too big and too heavy to run with very well. I definately like the older ones better. They are less expensive too.

The one i always wanted was i think called the super soaker 25o it was big but not too big and had 2 tanks of water on it.

I had one that the water was carried on your back. If you don't mind constant sloshing of water inhibiting your ability to run, then it is the perfect gun. The actual gun part was really light and easy to point at someone really fast because it didn't have water in it.

I remember that one too but i never had that one. I think every kid in my neighborhood had a super soaker of one type or another.

I used to play with all the boys, so EVERYONE had to have a super soaker and a bicycle. I think I must have gotten my tough skin from playing with them all these years. Thats where I learned how to play tackle football with no padding...all of the guys were way bigger than me, too and never showed any mercy.

You have no idea. I used to have a bowl cut and everything. I was always playing with the guys when I was little and you couldn't pay me to play dolls. I would wear shorts down to my knees and run around in huge t-shirts and get dirty. This was up until I was 13 or 14.

Now are you one of those really girly girls though? in my experiance most tomboys become the really girly girls later in life. My girlfriend did.

Ha! Don't push it. I don't think I can handle being a girly girl. I mean, I wear t-shirts and shorts and flip flops or birkenstocks all of the time. I don't particularly like getting dressed up, but I will wear a skirt now, I wouldn't before. I still like wearing shorts though because I can sit however I want.

I am really in the middle. I like jewelry and stuff, but what annoys me is girls that complain because there will be no way to dry their hair on our class trip because there weren't enough plugs in the super nice cabins at the camp we were at.

Thats good. Yeah it can be annoying to have people whos idea of roughing it is more than 2 people sharing a bathroom.

Oh no it was even better. In the bathroom there were three showers with wimpy little curtains and the toilets faced each other with no partitions. It was like saying hi to the friend across from you on the other toilet.

Well i have to admit i wouldnt like those facilities much but getting mad over not being able to use a hairdryer is rediiculous though.

Yeah it is. The guys toilets were beside each other, so maybe it wasn't as bad as staring at the person across from you. We would never use the bathroom at the same time. The thought was too scary.

Yeah that is bad i wouldnt want that either. Although at scout camp the toilets are side by side with no wall too. the one thing is as an adult leader which i was the last year i wnet is not to go in there when one of the scouts is on the toilet no matter how bad you have to go. The boyscouts are way to paranoid at times about stuff like that. They dont want even the possibility of anything bad happening.

lol. we would NOT under any circumstances have two people in there at the same time. It was just too much for us. Needless to say we aren't used to staring at someone else straight across from you while you are using the bathroom. What we would do is maybe have someone in the restroom and someone in the shower or two or three people in the showers...but at least then there wasnt awkward staring problems.

Theres just somethign way to weird about looking up and seeing someone else right across from you. WAY WAY too weird.

True and you better not have a shy bladder if you have to use a bathroom like that.
