514 posts in 2 weeks thats no life. but i guess i'm one to talk. amd boy how did we ever get so far off topic. But remember its not the number of the posts its the the quality.

Okay, Okay. I admit it. I have no life. So I am going to make a Space Camp related question. Let me think...oh no wait it is story time. Haha, so this one time...at space camp...actually no one of the academy kids opened the fire escape twice in one night and set off the alarm. We got really confused because we thought it was a fire drill so we all came out of our rooms and it took all the counselors on call about 10 minutes to get us to go back inside because we thought they were tricking us and there really was a fire or something. How a metal and concrete building manages to catch on fire, I am not sure...

Just about anything can catch fire if the fire is hot enough and there is plenty of stuff in that place that could burn.

Technicalities.....what's really annoying is when it rains and you are on the fourth floor on a top bunk and it beats against the side of the wall.

Well as much fun as it would be to beable to stay on the 4th floor with the girls i guess the guys have an advantage when it rains because iot never really bothered me on the second or third floor.

Well i'm sure the guys on the lower levels would be happy to let you share there room with them but i don't think the counselors would like it.

LOL, I would happily move down to the second floor. I really have no problem with co-ed housing. If there were just different bathrooms, I would have no issues with being in a room with a guy.

Well i'm sure the guys wouldnt mind either. However the counselors would mind i'm sure and they would have you on a plane home as fast as they can.

Yes, that would be a bother. I have heard Joel yelling at people in the Hab at night from the safety of my bed, and it is way too scary to even think about risking anything.

I've heard about one room where there is a hole in the bottom of a locker and you can talk to the guys below.

I don't know about that but i discovered the last time that i was there that we could here the girls in the room above us. Infact it turned out it was some of the girls from our team.

One night in 2002 there was someone walking on the roof of the Hab and we could hear it in our room.

oooh really? Thats pretty cool. I have heard stories from counselors who said they have climbed up the red towers, but I have never heard a story about someone walking around on the roof.

During lunch at our school sometimes you can see people walking around on the roof outside. It's wierd b/c since most of the windows are up high, like roof level, you'll see a shadow pass across you're table all of a sudden and look up and see a person.
