Well, I'd like to see us land back on the moon first.

...but since we've already been there, I can see NASA pusing more towards a direct flight to Mars instead...

Americans (or humans in general) seem to have a short attention span. we went to the moon and were soon bored with it. but with recent discoveries i think scientifically we can't afford not to return soon.

I hope we do go to mars in my life time. I remember the first year at space camp i was on one of the first teams to do their mars mission that they had for Space Camp. It wasnt much at the time but i think theyve improved it over the last 11 years.

i agree with matt..about the people of this fine country..i dont think theyd be too keen on spending billions of dollars in taxes to go somewhere weve already gone, even though theres so much more we could learn. i personally say moon first..but i would love to see humans land on mars in my lifetime.

I agree that mars should be first. Maybe with the chineese trying to go to the moon we might end up going back their atleast though.
