Post by Boomerang »

NASA has just made the announcement. Voyager 1 has officially entered Interstellar space. The probe launched 36 years ago has been confirmed by the latest date to now have kleft our solar system. It is the first man made object to ever do so.

I just heard the news. How exciting! When I was at Goldstone in 2002 they gave us an idea of how long it took for a message to arrive from deep space missions, and then how small of a message it was. I'm really fascinated by it!
