First Canadian Space Station CDR

Post by SpaceCanada »

Chris Hadfield became the first Canadian Space Station Commander this week. Needless to say, it's a big deal up here. Classrooms across the country are following his progress and asking him questions. It's an incredible milestone for the Canadians in Space.

Even the Queen sends her regards!

Chris' ISS farewell music video:

Vocals recorded on Earth with video from the ISS, compiled by his son Evan who has played a huge part in Chris' social media updates throughout this mission.
(Chris is part of the astronaut band MaxQ, so this was very fitting.)

All of his videos were pretty cool and I saw them on a bunch of different websites. Short and fun, I think they were great publicity for the space program. The farewell video was by far the best, really took the cake!
