Collection of space exploration artifacts

Post by Benji »

Venture capitalist Steve Jurvetson has a nice collection of space exploration artifacts, which he writes about (along with a bunch of other cool stuff) on his Flickr stream.

The highlights include this Apollo prototype flag and Grumman construction log of the Eagle LM, but you should really check out his whole stream.

Wow, now THAT's an awesome collection of SPACE artifacts worthy of exhibition in any museum that calls itself a space museum! Let's get rid of dinosaurs and Harry Potter at Sprocket and bring in cool stuff like this!!!

If anyone is interested in participating, there is an effort to transcribe the handwritten pages of the Grumman log at http://apollo11eaglegrummanlm5constructionlog.wikia.com.
