A few weeks ago my dad and I went to EAA Airventure in Oshkosh. For those of you who don't know, it's a very large airshow/fly in. We got to see Joe Engle talk about flying the T-28, X-15, and the Space Shuttle. I think he's the only person to fly the X-15 and shuttle into space. He was probably the most experience pilot I've ever seen speak. Sitting in the bleachers was a man, I think he was a WWII vet, and when people got to ask questions, he said that he promised him a flight in the T-28, and asked if his ticket was still good. I think that's a very nice story. Some other (slightly more famous people) we got to see there included Gary Sinise, and Sully Sullenberger.
