Shuttle Fleet Grounded

I heard this yesterday, but I haven't had the chance to post it until now. (Mainly because I just remembered.) The entire US shuttle fleet (all four of them) is now grounded due to cracks in the fuel lines. They aren't sure how long the cracks have been there or how long it will take to fix, but there will not be another flight until they are fixed.

I read this on space.com last week. Looks like theres cracks in the fuel lines to the main engines. i think they'll have to remove the SSME's and its gonna be pretty difficult.

I dunno...they made it sound as if this problem should be taken care of by the end of next month at the latest...we shall see...

Well from wgat ive read the shuttle will he grounded till atleast october. I read that the last mission was one shrt circuit away from either a RTLS or Trans atlantic abort, The crew was aparently fighting malfunctions all the way to orbit. The fuel lines are only part of the problem their are also some wiring problems that have to be fixed.
