Want to Go to Mars? Crews Wanted for Mock Missions, MDRS

For those of us who love camp but wish it were more realistic, this is perfect! Even better... it's free, they even pay for travel expenses.

Christmas Camp on Mars, anybody?
Ad astra per aspera.

i was interested.. then i saw photos for fire arm testing?!.. I DO NOT support fire arms or anything like that in space.. thats the problem with our own planet right now we could already be on mars if it were not for them being misused. well anyway thanks for the info.

There are email addresses on the Mars Society web site. I've written for more information about duration, training requirements, etc.

There is also apparently a "mission home" site (think mission control) but not a lot of information about it.

I have to think about this for next fall/winter (too late to plan for this session).

An MIT student who's part of one of the crews living on "not Mars" has been blogging about his experience.
