Actually it's been out for a while. Don't know why they "re-released" it, it never went anywhere. Got mine at FYE! about a year ago. Blockbuster's had it for a while.

i went to go buy it today from bestbuy since i have a gift card and they cant be used onine. so i went in the stire and was like to you have it (of course wearing my NASA sweatshirt) and the person like no it hasnt come in yet. i asked when it would come in she said it could be months or even years. so that was my tramatic experience attempting to buy it today :( but when i convince my parents its worth it im going to buy it online :D

Checked with my records, I bought that copy last May. MAY!!!! Not even a year ago. The copies were out there, hiding amongst the copies of "Big Trouble in Little China" and "Killer Clowns From Outer Space," all you had to do was get off your lazy six and look for it. The copy I had was bought for one purpose and one purpose alone, every current/former counselor that knows the real acronyms behind the shuttle aborts has a copy for the exact same reason.

It was almost a year ago though!

But that's beside the point. The disc did go out of print some time ago. They stopped producing it; they don't pull them from the stores though.

And as you said, it was hiding, even...

I'll go to my WAL-MART while I am in the city tonight to see how much they're asking for it. It will be good to have the DVD version on hand for whem my VHS version degrades to the point where the tracking feature will no longer work. Besides, I am sure they have digitally edited it so it looks a bit better than my VHS version anyway...

off to WAL-MART I go... (They used to be called Wolco up here until WAL-MART bought them out and jumbo sized all the stores!)

(If monkeynautt can find it up here in Alberta (Canada), I have a chance too; unless she took the only copy!)

Hmm... on the subject of the DVD... let me ask... is that DeepDiscountDVD site a trustworthy retailer? If so, I may buy it (and some others) from there.

Definitely trustworthy. I've placed a fair number of orders from them and haven't had any troubles, at least.

Cool. Thanks. I'll probably make the order eventually... I'm just too lazy to place it now.

I think your best bet would be maybe ebay or amazon. I doubt many of your stores will cary it.

There is a cd/dvd store in paris that has it, its around the opera. Its a HUGE store, very popular. But I can't think of the name, I'll ask around and see if any of my friends have any idea. I remember seeing it there, i looked at the coverart and read the back and stuff. They had several copies. That was the end of march
