A mention of the movie on a commedy central game show

Tonight i was watching Beet the Geaks on Comedy Central and their was a mention of space camp the movie. The question was what name did Joachim Phoenix use when he made such movies as Space Camp and one other one that i cant remember. Its not much but its still a mention anyway.

That's pretty cool! I've only seen that show once, but being a geek myself, I thought it was a decent spin on a game show...of course, now that I hear this, I think I like the show even more!

...and for those who may not know, before Joaquin Phoenix hit it big in films like Gladiator, he was credited as Leaf Phoenix. No doubt the name change came to bury the fact that he was in SpaceCamp!

NOTE: Despite that last attack at the film, I really, really do love it! :)

I always thought it looked like him but I was never sure!!!

From what i heard his parents were hippies. He was Leaf his brother was River and from what i hear he had other siblings with strange names as well.

Well i was watching Beat the Geeks again last night and saw the episode again. And the other movie they mention him in when he was still Leaf Phenix is Parenthood. I had forgotten about that one but thinking back on it he was the troubled kid whos mom found his porn videos in the movie.
