Fun Brent Stories

Post by CastAway »

Well, most of us here know Brent, and we all know he's a little, well... Brent, so I thought I'd start a fun Brent stories thread.

Last year, I was lucky/un-lucky enough to have Brent as my counselor. At the end of the week, after a great week with a great team, we all took the time to make closing remarks. When it came time for the counselors to speak, 'Dreia, our other counselor, began to say her first part. "I didn't tell you guys this, but you were my first group. And after all this, I have to say--" Brent cuts in "you guys suck!" That was quite interesting.

This year, Brent Christmas-tree'd us on the orbiter anomoles. But the funniest part is why he did this. He did this because we refused to give him a slice of cheese pizza at lunch. He even got some pizza (though pepperoni, I think) from Arlisa (who was our counselor at the time)!

I seem to have forgotten a third story.

For number four, see the top image on this page:

http://www.geocities.com/nathanieletc/ASA2003-1.html

Although it doesn't show it well, he and Arlisa were fighting or something in a playful way, and it was quite funny.
The less time spent in Orion Bay, the better.

I had Drea over X-mas camp! What's up with that?

Anyway, Brent told me about this site. He told us that someone had posted a story about him putting a little kid under the Hab stairs. I did find that story.

okay people keep talking about arlisa lately because shes the poster lady and whatever. when i was there in april, there was a lady named arlisa that wasnt a counselor really at the time, well she didnt have a group but it was during april so there werent a lot of groups, but she was the lady on the orbiter with some cool guy that had crazy hair and glasses during our missions and she trained us. is it the same one? imguessing yes because arlisa isnt really a common name. she was tallish..taller than me but im short. um and i think her hair was redish kinda sorta? okay yeah i cant remember craph physically. but im pretty sure she had gone to an adult program, and been a camper when she was younger.
is that the one everyones talking about?

Yeah, I think so, she was kinda new at the time, I think. Sara can clarify.

Back to Brent, here is the post I was talking about: http://www.hab1.com/HabForum/viewtopic. ... ight=#5338.

I guess he wasn't a little kid at the time. Anyway, Brent has no recollection of this occuring, but it sounds like Brent.

Well where to begin? I have never had Brent as a counselor, but I have had enough contact with him to know that he is very strange and the bomb when it comes to MOCR....or so he says.

Well he makes kids stand in corners if they are bad, and he makes fun of everyone. I am not sure if I have any appropriate examples...

Anyway, Brent is really cool even if he is mean. I can't believe he will eat the eggs!

I'd like to see him in a dark room. He probably has a radio-active glow.

Hmm well where to begin with Arlisa? She is new...well she is from the newest group of counselors. I don't know why, but I don't have any pictures of her so sorry. Anyway I was on her first team in March and I talk to her a lot so I hope I get all this right. She works cargo bay a lot, which is probably why she trained you. That and yes she did go to an adult camp once.

Brent was in MOCR for my EDM last year and during the second half he was messing with the communication lines. I was in station and we were able to talk with the shuttle. No one could talk to MOCR. It was so funny. This happened when we weren't supposed to have anycommunication because of an anomlie.

If you know Brent, you may know that he's an ego maniac who thinks he is the shiznit. So I thought I'd put him in his place. It is the 4th, so we have lots of fireworks. There are also several dogs in the area. Our test was very shitty, but I documented it very well. I present...

Wow! I can't believe the level you guys have sunk to while I was away camp. Anyway, Brent was one of my counselors this past week and he was awesome. I had soooo much fun, and it was good to see Ben, Becky, and Katie again.
