some awesome counselors...

Post by Repeat »

Katina was cool, Becky Delta (TISH!!!) was AWESOME, Nathalie (currently in Turkey) is pretty cool, Tony was cool (dunno where he is now...), Colin was pretty cool, though we didn't do briefings the way we normally did (we had discussions or four square games instead...). Amy is cool, Andy is funny (Bad Andy, good pizza!), Muffin made me spit out my drink from laughing too hard during our EDM. Ben was very understanding about my small fear of the Canada Arm.
In AC, Wingnut was crazy, Overdrive is awesome (still talk to her), Pyro's a cool counselor, filled with horrible jokes, tons of information on planes, and way too many disgusting facts and statements... Porkchop was pretty cool as well.

I was on ISC and my counselor was Arlisa. She was really cool and I miss her very much! And my favo teacher was Andy, 'grazy' Andy. We used to laugh a lot at his lectures.
They made me have a wonderful week. :D

I knew she was down here, but I didn't know she left camp for good. I also didn't know she was getting married, though she did tell us about her boyfriend.

I got an email from her a while ago saying she was getting married, she was our counselor when we found "the glorious hole".

I might've been in tough with her if Brent hadn't lost our contact list. I'm starting to wonder if he did it on purpose, but only 'cause I get bored.

there used to be a hole in hab1 from room 318 up to 418, Drea found it back when she was a camper, then everyone forgot about it. Last year we found it again and then this year during week 40 i think, someone went up it and the camp found out. So week 41 ASA guys slept on the second floor. but my friend who went week 42 says they were back on the 3rd floor when he was there.

Are you telling me that if I'm in 318, I can take a secret passage up to 418?

When i found it last year it was barely big enough to pass paper through, then the girls made it bigger. It went from the ceiling of 318 to one of the lockers in 418. After the incident this year, i think they had someone close it up permenantly. So no you probably couldnt get up through anymore, but you used to be able to.

That sucks. Where in 318 was it? Wright over the lockers? Even if they sealed it, I still want to check it out.

Bear with me as I attempt to describe this in a manner that is easy to understand:

In all of the rooms there is a center section of the ceiling that is slightly lower than the rest, its where the vent and lights are. On the sides where the panels go up at angles, on the side facing the door, the second to last angled panel facing the door side of the room (its the panel facing the bed over the desk) could be slid away or even completely removed and revealed a mass of fiberglass insulation which we moved with a towel. Beyond that was the bottom of the girls lockers (possibly locker 6, but im not sure having never seen the other end of the hole), and if you can make sense of my jumbled description is were the hole is. But as i said after week 41 this year, the hole has been sealed probably extremely well.

418 and 318 are on the left wing of the building, near the bank (storage room now) and are the closest rooms to the stairs that are on the side of the building you are facing when you walk in. its ok if you dont understand my description, im kinda confused by it myself.
