i stayed in 418 during EALD, August 18, 2000 (I remember the date only because it was my birthday eve...). I remember my flight got canceled, and they told me I needed to be on the 8am bus at 8:05 instead of the 9am bus for a 10 o'clock flight....

Your description makes sense. I'll dig up my name badges and see what they say. That's the general area I was thinking.

I had Becky Baxter, who I liked a lot, as well as Mandy (aka Juanita) and Emily. Fun times all around. Also, does anyone know Wes, Smiley, Adrian, and Cynthia? I didnt have them as team leaders but they ran the simulators and were cool :-D

I must say his design for the space suits for EVA was ingenious. The football pads thing was great....

Well, I've always wondered about that lower portion of the ceiling. So this past year, I pushed aside one of the removable tilethingys and a whole load of dust came out (which sent us all out of the room for a good 15 minutes. But then I made a face mask out of a towel, and stuck my head in there. Mainly just an airduct and the lights for the room were in there. But looking up, you could see that there was wood on the "ceiling". That was probably the bottom of the lockers on the next floor up. It would be plausible that with a little screwdriver or something, some one could make a hole, which then could be easily enlarged.

Anyways, enough about the layout of the Hab.

no, let's continue discussing the layout of the hab, organize an Area 51 activity that requires moving through it in weird ways, and then once we've been through all of the pringle cans, then we can move on...
or until we get caught doing things we shouldn't... whichever comes first.

There are also the rumors of people climbing through the ventilation ducts trying to get up to the girls floor and getting stuck. And last year there was the incident where the entire ceiling of 319 was pulled down in an attempt to make another hole, i believe that still if you slam the door hard enough, it will cause the ceiling to come down.

Ahhhh I hate it when people don't let the door shut quietly and let it slam! It is SOOO loud in the mornings when hyper little campers run around and slam the doors!

I think the week before I went somebody got in trouble for crawling around in the ventilation ducts so they were watching (well more like listening to) us more closely that week.

By the way, I checked and I stayed in 418 my first year at camp(2002). Last year I stayed in 417 which is right across the hall. It's a disadvantage to stay in both of those rooms because you're right by the counselors and they hear every little thing that goes on.
