Rocket Center lays off more than a third of staff

Post by Hotdog »

Sad news from the Rocket Center today. Many of the crew trainers and staff we know and love have been let go. My heart breaks for those who have been impacted.   This is a huge blow to Space Camp and to our friends who dedicated their life to something they loved.

I've heard they got rid of a lot of higher tenured people. Frankly, this is very common in Corporate America right now, forcing out the people with the higher salaries...

LOL Unfortunately (?), that is something that I am well acquainted with. They'll pay only until they've gotten what they wanted from you.
