There are many past and present counselors on the baord.

You can tell as they'll have gold wings with the rank of "Counselor."

And Vincent was a counsellor too, although his rank is set to Site Admin with dots instead of wings.

Ohh cool, i just thought the rank counsilor was for the number of posts and rank on here, not that they were real counsilors. That's cool :P I was just curious.

counselors are a special breed. much as the campers and trainees who come through Sprocket Programs, Vincent knows very well how dedicated and hard-working the counselors are. It is a special privelage to wear counselor wings on your hab1 profile, given only to those of us who graduate some counselor training either at the lake (AC) or space side.

Very true Repeat. It is quite a privilege, and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to work space side (& a little down at the lake) for ~8 months this past year.

I also consider myself very lucky to have worked with other staff that really loved to be at the USSRC.

Please ignore Spanky - he's having a bad day.

Counselors are what makes the USSRC programs as good as they are.

Actually Head On should be an official sponsor for the USSRC. How many times could a counselor, supervisor, manager use this product.

I always liked the Stress Management tool I hung above my desk at Space Camp.

The big circle with the words "BANG HEAD HERE"

Now that's HEAD ON, baby!

That's what I originally thought Spanky was talking about. Nearly every student in secondary school had those 'stress relief' posters in their lockers or on the cover of their most-dreaded text book. Place on hard surface, and bang head here! :D

I was a M3 counselor during the 2004 season. I loved it and I miss it.

The new band director at my old high school posted one of those signs right outside his door for all the students to use. Can you imagine the phone calls. "Yes, my child sustained a concusion from hitting his head into your door because you told him to."

Yes. Sadly, 1996-1999 were dark years. There was no HeadOn to apply directly to our foreheads.

We were forced to use "bread" instead. And the smell of "trainee fear" never washed out of our flightsuits, no matter how many cycles in the washer.
