Need a job for summer?

Post by Who »

This year might be the year to work at Space Camp. No, I'm not a spy for HR or going to get anything for this, but I wanted to let folks here know ahead of time that the U.S. Space & Rocket Center is offering some HUGE incentives (You know $$$$) for being a camp counselor this year. Even old counselors should take a look at it, they could make 50% more then they did last time.

I won't go into details (but you know that its hard work, long hours and the best time you could ever have for 5 months of your life). I'll let HR do the telling of all the programs, pay grades and bounses they are offering, so call them at 256.721.7196.

From what I've heard you have to be there by the middle of may for training.

Wow, I am working on my paperwork while I'm home for Thanksgiving. How crazy... Yikes. All my old counselors and people say it's the summer of a lifetime.. :) Teehee. I'm a dork. I love the USSRC

Is it time to apply for summer already?
The less time spent in Orion Bay, the better.

Speaking of summer jobs, I posted an opportunity with NASA in the Hab section of the forum. It looks like it's space camp but with lots more lab work. Check it out.
