Duct Tape
does anyone else agree with me in saying that duct tape is an amazingly useful thing at camp, ive used it for many things from taping linnens to beds to taping a counselor to a chair on the orbiter anyone have any other good uses?

I created RAGS with duct tape. RAGS stands for Really Annoying Girls (and they know who they are) Silencer. Basically, duct tape over the mouth.
I made a clothes line with it in our room, used it to hold my sun glasses to the forward panel in on the flight deck, and secured Hillary's shirt for Area 51. We also duct taped Ian to a bench on the TCF.

Yes I was once a victim of the RAGS system. But we also used duct tape around our arm on our flight suit for Joel. Aww I miss Joel.

omg! NEVER call him bald. i was in mocr and was talking to kendall about something and he mentioned dave and i was like whos dave? and kendalls like hes in flight deck. and im like oh, the bald guy. i had no idea that they could hear us on flight deck. so im looking up at the monitor and i see him look straight into the camera. and he got onto the mic and asked who said that. i was sooo scared. i saw him leave flight deck and go out the hatch. he opened the door to mocr and i spazzed. i ran into the bathroom yet he somehow still got me. then he came into the iss during our edm and locked me in the node. kendall had to call to get me out. i was like, not cool. i was sad though cause i was going to try to climb out over the station. lol...would soo have been busted...but yeah, for dave, duct tape is AWESOME!!!

yea it took seven of us to hold him down i had like 15 wraps of the tape around him and he still broke out we were all hiding on flight deck and were sitting on the hatches so he couldn't get up

Duct Tape
Duct Tape is such a useful tool, for anything; everything; and then some... Space Camp is no exception!
Both of my visits to Space Camp thus far have included memorable moments with the infamous duct tape:
1. Never use a fire extinguisher in a simulator without bracing yourself against something. A fellow crewmate learned this the hard way when she ended up breaking her back as a result of Newton's "every reaction has an equal and opposite reaction." Thus, to splint one's back, we duct taped a cafeteria tray to her back - wasn't that a lovely sight...
2. Space Dimensia can be subtle at first, but becomes exponentially worse when the one who has it is the only doctor of the crew! Needless to say, mischeif became my middle name and I started to flick switches, empty cabinets, and reverse the vaccuum on Mr. Thirsty. To make it all more fun, communications with ground were out and they had to contain me until the MOCR people could tell the crew what to do with me. Until then I was duct taped to the wall of the mid-deck... Smurf-on-the-wall...
3. If you are on the station and a counsellor asks if you're feeling homesick, always say yes, and keep your cool. This is a great one to act out because if you do it right, your crewmates will think you are homesick for REAL! Beware of crewmates who attempt to open the airlock to "go home". It's not really something you'd want them to do while you are orbiting a few hundred kilometres from home!! Once again, after a good sturggle, the duct tape was brought out and I was duct taped to the floor until they could figure out what to do with me.
Duct Tape became such a memorable part of camp that one of my fellow campers sent me a 365 Days of Duct Tape calendar the following Christmas to remind me of camp and all it's memories!

Need Smaller Duct Tape
As some of you know I listen to a Prairie Home Companion. A few weeks they had a joke about duct tape on. It was a joke about smaller duct tape that fits in your pocket.Click on the Url to listen to it (You must have Real Player to listen).

Well i wish id had some duct tape at ASa we had some kid stuck in our room the last night we were their because he caused trouble in another room. He wouldnt shut up and was the horniest idiot ive ever seen. If wed had duct tape we probably would have taped him to the bed and put it over his mouth or just taped him up including his mouth and thrown him in a locker.

Granted i only heard this story from my teammates since i couldnt be their in person (unfortunately). One night one of the girls on my team aparently turned the large locker in their room into her own personhel space. and aparently shortly their after while sitting inside her roommates locked her inside. Funny thing is we could hear all this from our room righjt below them and were wonmdering what was going on they told us the next day.
