I hate flipping switches. It seems like that's pretty much all you do. Yeah so you have control, but you're not swinging around on a cable. That is so much fun. Especially looking down into the cargo bay and just falling forward. Very scary, but lots of fun.

Ok the faces thing has gotten way out of habd. also i would still rather be in the pilot or commander preferrably commander to avoid the APU prestart checklist the pilot has to do. Yeah its alot of work but where else do you get to be in control of the space shuttle?

Yeah, and where else do you strap yourself into a harness and go floating off into oblivion looking for 5 million dollar salad bowls for a satellite that someones breaks as much as 3 times a day.

I got the whole APU sequence down-pat. Commander wouuld say what to flip and my hand would already be on the switch. It really is in a pretty logical order.

I agree, it's really not that bad once you practice it a few times.

Well unfortunately we never really got much practicve on anything for the mission just got a general overview of the flight deck one run through of the apu prestart checklist and practice landing seems we were always behind. And asa was the firat toime id had to do it at academy i was commande and camp Columbia had no apu switches almost everything was done on a single keypad. But for the EDm i wasnt pilot till the secomd half anyway.

I got the APU pretty fast. It's easy by the third time through.

Well it seems as thought the sequence is logical. But man I still like sitting down in middeck jumping around in front of the cameras and chilling with the space ghosts.
