Do most people carry a bag around during the day?

Going to camp soon? Have questions about camp? Post them here for those that have gone to answer.

From what I remember, kids on my teams carried backpacks. Not sure about these days though.

haha, you're asking all the questions i should have remembered to ask or at least think about!

I'd say bring a small backpack or whatever to put camera, some extra money, etc around with you?

Yes, a very small backpack or shoulder bag is nice to have for your camera, money, sun cream, and water bottle. Not a purse, a shoulder bag...

I love my shoulder bag. Never travel without one!

a backpack is also great because your logbook will fit in there, and you'll wanna carry that everywhere you go.

one year i had a fanny pack for the smaller essentials such as shuttle bucks, candy, camera film, batteries, etc.

personally i'm not a fan of backpacks so i wore BDU pants. you know...the old army pants with the large pockets. carried my notebook and pen in one of the pant leg cargo pockets...wallet in one of the back pockets...and my camera in the other cargo pocket.

Well based on the size of the log books now which seem more like log pamphlets compared to the old days a small bag would do the job a backpack isnt nessecary.

I always carried around my Camelbak with me, but I was lakeside at AC, so we were outside running around a lot more than Space Camp, and it was a necesity to always have water on us, but a small backpack is great to have to keep a camera and stuff in. Trust me, if you take pictures, youll get home and wish that you had taken more!

I carried a backpack with me every time I went to camp. I kept my camera, snacks, a bottle of water, money, pens, and anything else I needed in there. A backpack really comes in handy if you want to carry things like that with you. Just don't overload it since you'll have to carry it around with you all day long.

I carried a backpack around, although I was the only one. I kept my flightsuit, duct tape, and random stuff. I could supply anything at any moment!

The first three times I was there I carried the bag that comes in the clothing package. The last time I was there I carried the backpack they gave us with my large camera bag in it.

It's been a while since I've been, but I always carried a backpack with me. It was helpful to carry my logbook, sweat shirt (cause outside it was hot but the classrooms were as cold as the hab), camera and such.
But, then, I've carried a pack pretty much everywhere with me since junior high. Guess I just like to be prepared. :)
