You won't have much time to listen to it. Bring it at your own risk, Space Camp is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

YES bring your ipod. and speakers if u have them. They're a lifesaver on boring plane rides and great fun in the dorms if u have speakers. just put it back everynight before u go to bed in ur locker...with a lock

I want to because the pretty much the only way I can get to sleep is listening to the sleepless in seatle soundtrack.

I used mine at night, and I definitely used it during flight delays.

For the most part the only time i used mine was on the plane. I don't think it will cause you pain if you leave it at home. Lots of people bring them though you have to remember that if its lost or stolen its lost or stolen.

you have left and come back by now, I'm sure.
but I'll stick in my two cents ;)
iPods and mp3 players work MIRACLES at night, when trying to sleep.
and the campers who can't fall asleep are slamming doors left and right...
so I would recommend it ;)

One time, I brought mine, and my laptop. If you've got a lock, you don't have to worry too much about theft. Just actually use your lock.

As mentioned in another topic, there is rumoured to be wireless internet in the mess hall. The Huntsville airport has wireles internet too. Otherwise, the only internet access at Space Camp is in the computer labs, and only if your counsellors let you use it...

Personally, I wouldn't bring a laptop to Space Camp. There are so many other things to do, why would you want to use your laptop?

iPod/MP3/CD player, definitely, but a laptop.. I just don't see why...

Actually, I can think of a variety of reasons to bring a laptop to camp. Taking notes in lectures, pulling photos off your digital camera (and those of your team mates) and making CDs for everyone at the end of camp not to mention having a daily slideshow at like dinner or something, and writing a journal are all ideas that come to mind.
I'm going to try to borrow one from work for when I go to Adult ASA this fall (since I don't have my own), but I'm not sure we will have any available.

someone may have already answered this, but ive found an iPod high useful when trying to fall asleep at night, mainly because it really drowns out the girls that will stay up until three in the morning talking
