To attacking

Post by ApolloXI »

Earlier I posted a attacking post I will say that I first just thought of being nasty but after I walked away I notcied that I was to harsh. I still belive that some of the AC people are to military for a camp that is not desp. as military type training.

Well trust me, they used to be more military oriented than they are now. We used to have to do push ups for bad words...etc etc. There were a lot of things we had to do that we cant be forced to do now.

Chill Out!

Post by JB/Gordie Howe »

Chill out guys! It's a joke, and if you had been to AC it would make a lot more sense! If you haven't been here, then like you said it's for alum, go back to the space thread.
Oh, and it's a lot better than the posting wars!!

Greetings Sports Fans

To : All
From : " Da Fly "

There are many abbreviations that are spoken at both facilities : Space Camp and Aviation Challenge. There is no reason that there needs to be this much bickering about them. It was explained in a message posted yesterday evening defining what the main message was about. So let me recap.

Flight Operations - Normal " THE SIMS ARE NOT DOWN !!!"
Weather - CAVU "WE ARENT IN THE STORM SHELTER !!!"
Lake Temperature - Comfortable as ever " PLEASE THROW ME IN THE WATER IS NICE "

Carry On

Ok lets not attack the AC guys anymore. They have a point most of you have never been to AC but dont attack the counselors and the people who have just because you haven't or in Sara's case didnt like it.

*nods* Thanks Jason. We (the AC crew) appreciate your thoughts. If anyone has a problem with "Notes from the AC Office" don't read them.

Nice Jason....way to say I didn't like AC. I didn't have a good week because it was so hot and E and E got rained out halfway through. I would considering going again and pray to the rain gods that it doesn't rain...

Actually, I would really love doing E&E during a rain storm. Not a severe storm mind you just some moderate rain. For one thing everything would be harder to see with cloud cover, and you would be much harder to hear. Of course it works both ways but man it would be cool. Sometimes when i'm on long cave trips i try to imagine what E&E in a cave would be like. Now man, that would be wild. I would hate to have to do it for real. Miles and miles and miles.

I love turning all lights off in a cave. It's so dark.

Okay Smiley, I've known you for a while and I have figured out that your idea of a good time is pretty crazy. E and E in a rainstorm was fine with me, but I guess they didn't want to get sued when one of us gets struck by lightning. Still, it would be awesome I have to admit. The sucky part was that they decided to rain it out. :(

I've been there. I have also been to NC for caving...wimpy caving, but still caving. If you want to know what weird caving is like, just ask Smiley sometime.

My cousin is a park ranger and was stationed at Mammoth Cave until this spring. She got us all kinds of discounts and stuff.
