So you work there? I'm still really confused. You're new so I'll cut you some slack, but I'm very easily confused.

Let's eliminate the confusion. We'll start at the beginning, because, well, it's simpler that way.

"Notes from the AC Office"
-- Looks pretty simple to me. It's a note. And it's from the office at AC. Questions?

"Flight Operations - Normal"
-- Flight operations are proceeding as scheduled, with no interruptions, snags, or delays. No foreseeable issues with aircraft, crews, or safety.

"Weather - CAVU"
-- For a bunch of supposedly knowledgeable aerospace people, or at least AC types, this one should be simple. Refer to the National Weather Service, or the FAA: "CAVU = clear or scattered clouds and visibility greater than ten miles".

"Lake Temperature - comfortable as ever"
-- The lake temperature is comfortable.

"'Base Commander says: "Attention Trainees: If you're happy and you know it. Clap your hands... That is all." '"
-- This is a message from the on-site commander at AC. Self-explanatory.

"Wish you were here."
-- If you can't decode that one, you are indeed lost. Return to Hab 1 immediately and let your counselor buy you some Space Dots.

Okay maybe the reason I didn't get it was that there was no preface for it. I guess its a nice gesture though.

What is so difficult to understand? Hab1.com is being taken over by Past and Present AC / Top Side Counselors. Any further questions will be answered in tomorrows edition of:

Give it a rest guys. Work is over. leave the code off the site. If you want to post something of value like changes at AC (new activities, upgrades or what have you),that is cool. This site is for Trainees to keep in touch with each other and for us to "ocassionally" chime in and update valued guest on changes. Continued use of jibberish will only degrade a site so many have worked hard to build.

Thanks
Smiley

Um yeah I agree with Smiley. I don't think the goal here is to confuse the mess out of all of us Hab1-ers.

I think the confusion was that the inital post came out of nowhere no explanation whatsoever. I apreciate AC counselors i had some great ones in 96 but how about trying to have the posts make some sense.

Not in the military

Post by ApolloXI »

 I hope you guys know that Hab1 is a celebration of the alumni of SC and AC some of us don't give a hoot about your dang military crude. If you want to post messages you better not post them as important or if you do it better have language we all can understand.
