Speaking of, did I ever tell that when I went to the Return to Flight conference at KSC, we had an astronaut (not yet flown) give a briefing where he described the liftoff to orbit phase as.....

ASSENT.

I wanted to stand up and say that I am glad everything is in agreement, and that the correct spelling is

ASCENT.

But I didn't. So I went back to passing notes with my buddies from KCSC.
