Hint while using the sims(for people going to AC soon)

A place for ACers to come and hang out after a hard day of escape-and-evade or survival training.

Hint while using the sims(for people going to AC soon)

When bombing, use the rudders (foot pedals) to help line the X (the bombsight) on the target.

Well obviously they have made some sim changes since i went in 96. When i was their none of the sims we used had rudder pedals or bomb sights. But then again all of our sims were based on planes that were primarily fighters.

The X appears on the HUD (I think), regardless if you are on an A-10 or fighter plane. You get to it by cycling weapons.

It might have been the same when i was their. Then again i flew back seat most of the time. We only had 2 diffrent cockpit types when i was their F-4 and F-16 but they would change the computer setup to represent diffrent aircraft.

There was no real difference between bombers and fighters in terms of what I saw on the screen- except we were armed differently and manuevered differently. It is tougher to bomb with a fighter than with the A-10.

Like i said our simulators were all one of 2 cockpits they were either F-4 or F-16 so we didnt even know what we were flying half the time because only the computer configuration would be changed.
